Bainbridge Beanie

$7.00

The Bainbridge Beanie uses a simple 1x1 broken rib texture which gives you the look of a ribbed beanie with half the effort! This pattern comes in 7 sizes, ranging from baby to adult xl. You can adjust the length as desired, and you can also choose whether to go brimless or add a folded brim!

You only need to work 1x1 ribbing every other round, while the alternating rounds are simply knit. This makes for a delightfully squishy beanie with a beautiful texture that knits up quickly, and with just enough variety to keep you coming back for one more row.

This beanie has an optional folded brim that is worked inside out so that, once folded, it stays in pattern with the rest of the beanie.

This beanie pattern requires a DK-weight gauge, which can be achieved either by holding two strands together (such as a Suri + a Fingering weight yarn) or with a single DK-weight yarn.
